MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT:

Math is important for many different reasons. Besides being the back bone of the sciences and the rest of the subjects, It contributes greatly to personal and cultural development of an individual. It also develops in a student clear, logic, coherent and creative reasoning. Math sparks creativity, and is the basis to human ambition. It creates many jobs such as engineers, mathematicians, investors and sometimes merchants.

Kebirigo high school endeavors to be the center for Mathematics and having posted the best mean in math in the county, in the recent past, boasts of supplying well grounded human resource in the country and world in the various disciplines that require mathematicians.As a department we take the responsibility of ensuring students in our school have the best attitude toward math with the seriousness it deserves.

Math teachers are very supportive and have always advanced the philosophy of the department which has always been to reduce the distances between students and us so as to address the different needs of the students as much as math is concerned.
